About Tiara
Welcome! I am an independent stylist at Sola Salons in Greeley, at Sola each stylist rents out their own room and has the opportunity to run their own business. My passion for the beauty industry started at a young age, yes, I was the little girl that forced my mom to let me play with her hair. As I’ve grown up I really started to love how a simple trip to the salon could change the way a person feels be it for a few hours or for a few weeks. I wanted to be a part of that. My goal as a hairstylist is to have every person that sits in my chair feel like they are in a safe, comfortable place and leave feeling happy.
Soon after graduating high school, I moved to Minnesota and started cosmetology school at PCI Academy. It was really nerve racking at first, but my confidence grew very quickly and I learned how to be more outgoing than I ever was. But I still knew that I had so much more to learn, so it was very important to me that the salon I worked in after school had continuing education programs. So I was drawn to Hairazors Salon for their associate program where I worked with a very experienced stylist for 6 months and had crucial one-on-one education. I stayed there for a year until life circumstances brought me back to Colorado. Shortly after getting my license transferred I started working with Dondi at Sola Salons. I really enjoy the studio salon concept because even on my busy days I never feel that busy salon feel and it allows my guests and myself to have a calm, quiet environment away from the busyness of everyday life.
